How to Make a Copy of Google Sheet

Step: 1 - Open the File


Click on the link that you received. You either must have received a direct link or a downloadable document that comprises the link. Please note that you will have only VIEW access to the file.


Step: 2 - Click on File > Select Make a Copy as show below:



Step: 3 - Rename the File


A pop-up window will appear asking you to rename the file and to choose the location to make a copy as shown below.



Step: 4 - Locate the file 


The copied file will be available in your drive to use. Search with the filename and add it to your favorites for easy access as shown below.
